1. Overview

This policy explains what information MemeArena (the "Game") collects and how it is used. We aim to collect as little as possible. You can play as a guest without an account.

2. What we store

• On your device:your local game progress (deck, owned cards, coins, gems, settings, and avatar) is cached in your browser's local storage so the game works offline. Clearing site data removes this local copy. Your trophies/rank, match results, and token rewards are validated and kept on our servers (see below), so those are not lost by clearing local data.
• Wallet address: if you connect a wallet, we store your public wallet address so we can match you, track trophies, and send any token prizes. We never receive your private keys or seed phrase.
• Match & leaderboard data: for online play we store match state, results, chat messages, a guest identifier, chosen username/avatar, and your trophy history so PvP and the leaderboards work.
• Analytics: we use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand gameplay and improve the Game (for example, which screens are used and whether matches complete).

3. What we do NOT collect

We do not ask for your name, email, or physical address to play. We never have custody of your wallet and cannot move your funds. On-chain activity is public by nature of the blockchain and is not created or controlled by us.

4. How we use it

To run matches and matchmaking, calculate trophies and leaderboards, validate rewards and prevent fraud, deliver token prizes to eligible wallets, and improve the Game. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Third parties

We use service providers to host the backend (database, authentication, realtime), for analytics, and for the Solana network and wallet providers you choose to connect. Those providers process data under their own terms and policies.

6. Your choices

You can play as a guest, disconnect your wallet at any time, and clear your local progress by clearing site data in your browser. Some online data (e.g. past match results and leaderboard entries) may be retained for integrity and anti-fraud purposes.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the Game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
